What should I know before I buy tickets for an AVP volleyball event?

I've never been to a volleyball tournament before, although I enjoy playing and watching the sport on TV. I live in San Diego and was planning to drive up to Huntington Beach for the AVP match there in late May. It'd be nice to see some of the more famous players but I think I would have fun watching the high level of play regardless. Does it get really crowded and do I have to camp out for a seat? Can I see big stars on Saturday as well?

I went to the qualifying match last year at the tournament by sea world. (in San Diego) It was very crowded but the people i saw weren't really names I've heard of. I noticed Misty May and Kerry Walsh had go at like 8:00 in the morning. but that was the only time i went. it wasn't very crowded. just grabbed a seat in front of the court i chose to watch and had fun :-) I hope this helps.
