If there is enough demand, start an intramural team. If you and your teammates are serious enough, perhaps you can get it sanctioned and it can become an official school team. Our school is a Jr. High & High school together. The highschoolers have a volleyball team, but the Jr, High doesn't. If there is enough interest, then yes, they should, but otherwise, no. I think that it is wrong not to offer equal opportunities for boys and girls in sports, it's sexist! If they want a team, then let them have one!Of course they should, in my school we have a girls volleyball team and during our practices the boys would practice with us. We dont have a boys volleyball team because there is no coach interested in coaching in the spring. Although, some divisions allow co-ed volleyball. We were able to add 3 boys to our roster this past season, we didn't put them into the game because we only had them to intimidate the other team with height and also because there were rumors that some teams had boys on their team.
But you would be surprised how many guys love to play volleyball!!
