What is the diffence between volleyball rally scoring versus the traditional means of scoring volleyball?

Do you have any tips for my volleyball try-outs?

in volleyball rally scoring, a point is won on every play, with every serve. in the traditional scoring, only the serving team can win a point. if the non-serving team wins the ball, they get the opportunity to serve. they then have the chance to get a point. rally scoring is played to 25 because the game is so much faster, and traditional scoring is played to 15, because it takes longer.

Where can i find pics of the referee's hand signals in volleyball?

basically it's like what the above poster said.
with each serve, one team will always get the point unless a replay is called. that's for rally scoring.

for traditional: only the serving team can get the point if they win that serve. (for ex: team a and b..'a' serves and wins, point for 'a'. Then 'a' serves again but 'b' wins, no point is awarded to 'b')

What are the best shoes for volleyball?

one more difference:

rally score: if the ball touches the net but goes over on serve, it's good to play.

side-out score (traditional): the serving ball cannot touch the net at all.

some ppl play rally score to 30 also.
