How do you hit a volleyball and when do you approach?
Question:my hits are everywhere like some fly into the net and some just go way out of bounds. the thing i dunno is when do i begin my approach ?

Depends on what type of set you are trying to hit. If you are running a quick set (1) you want to be in the air and let the setter find you. If you are hitting a higher set you want to explode to the ball as it reaches it's peak after the setter sets the ball.Keep your elbow up and snap when you hit the ball.
How to do a 'Jump Float Serve' in Volleyball?
is that like a joke or somethingDo you have to be a certain height for volley ball?
begin your approach when the ball is at the highest pointthen: big left step, small right step, crouch down, smal left step, then jump (with your arms)
when you brng your arm up, pretend you are wiping your mouth and then, snap the ball down hard
It depends on the set you are receiving. If it's just a pop or a short set, then you need to leave before the setter touches it. If you're a left and asking for a shoot you also need to leave sooner. However, if it's just a normal set then you should be able to leave as soon as the ball touches the setter's hands. When you hit make sure that after you swing you twist yur body so that you are facing the net. This should prevent it from going out of bounds. Also, make sure you hit with an open hand, as it gives you more control. As for it going in the net, that's all about timing. See if you can get together with your setter and practice for like an hour a week. Eventually it will come totally natural. Good Luck!!
you want to start your approach once the ball is half way. than you should hit the top of the ball. you just to need get the feel for it and once you practice you will get it down
