Spiking behind teachers back?

in my volleyball uh...well... i guess you could call it league, my teacher wont let us spike. should i spike behind her back? i mean, we can spike the ball from the back row, but not the front. should i spike or not?

if you can't spike, then what's gonna be the thrill of volleyball? There won't be any excitement and a rally will only end when someone messes up...that equals borrrring.
so i say go for it and then if you teacher says no, then ask her/him why not...
