Which home-icing solution will stay cold the longest, when icing a sore shoulder?

I've used a blue ice pack, a bag of frozen peas, and a bag of ice cubes in the past. They all seem to get pretty warm/melted by the end of the recommended 20 minutes of icing.

usually a bag of ice cubes should work and should not turn warm, though it may turn somewhat watery. but when that happens, just switch to another bag. That's what i do all the time and obviously don't do it a place where it can get hot. haha

Should i go for volleyball or soccer?

I don't know if this is right but I heard you could put steak on a soar or some meat. that is what they did in the old days if not icy hot patch works great

Probabaly the peas.
