When will they show volleyball again on espn?
You need plyrometric training to build explosiveness. Just do a google search for exercises. Here are a few.http://volleyball.lifetips.com/cat/10728...

I don't know. Do they make shoes with springs in them? How about a trampoline? What is best way to get in shape to play for a volleyball team?
tie ankle weights (or whatever) to your legsplyrometric training
oooor
my personaly invented way..
take a pair of either cheap or old shoes
hollow the heel(aka cut it open and pull out evreything) down to the rubber soles. then fill the hollow with lead or some other heavy material, take hot glue and cover up the material so it won't go into the shoe.
then wear the shoes, they are as uncomfy as can be, but they do build up a little extra muscle

try jump roping 4 times a day.Try going into weight training once a week. Squats work really well to raise your virtical. Don't forget to bring your arms far back when going up for an approach. You'd be suprised at the difference.
