welli had volleyball tryouts a couple months ago
never walk or sit when you try out
for serving use palm to target
passing you need to use 3 point stance
shoulders in front of hips in front of ankles and
last but not least on your toes the whole time
just focus and relax probably the worst thing you could do is stress... i have learned that when i have fun i play better so just pretend its like a fun practice dont think about it as tryouts you will just stress yourself out even more... good luck!!
What is the best volleybal internet shop ?
when you sereve make sure yoy trow the ball high and when you come in contact. hit hard and when serving, ball hs to be in front and above your head. PLuls it can't be in back or in front. when you set the ball, use your finger tips. When bump the ball cuff your hands sright in front of you then get under the ball and hit it.their more stuff but if you want to know the rest, go to http://www.wikihow.com/play-volleyball.

I've discovered that the things that impress coaches the most and will make you stand out are:* Hustling everywhere!! when they call a water break, from each drill, in each drill, when they call the meeting at the beginning, etc..
* Talk, talk, talk! Call the ball when it comes to you, LOUD and three times. I.E. Mine, mine, mine. Got it, got it, got it
* Be enthusiastic.
* Support everyone and be positive. When you're waiting in line for the ball or watching a drill, say stuff like, Good job, Sara! or Nice pass, great serve!
* Don't take water breaks unless the coach lets you.
* Never sit down unless the coach specifically tells you to! you'll be viewed as lazy.
* Listen to the coaches if they tell you something and take their advice. If they point something out to you and show you a different way to do it, change what you're doing to show them you're coachable. Never say to a coach, " Well I learned this way" or anything like that.
* Always listen when a coach or his/her assistants are talking. Don't talk to the other girls. Show some respect and make eye contact when they're talking.
get to tryouts early! do your own warm up and stretch out. for serving, try to find your style. some people just hit the ball, others do a "float serve", then the most popular is the jump serve. then for passing, dont try to 3 point stance. just have you feet shoulder width apart with your shoulders facing the net (unless your doing a backward pass to get the ball over the net), and pass the ball on your forearm; not your thumbs or wrist. be relaxed and take your time. if you start screwing up, just breathe and try again. DONT GET VIOLENT! lol
I want to go to a lot of volleyball camps this summer- any good ones in VA?
To personally tell you I'm on a pro's volleyball team. AKA Islanders. For passing... if you were to have a ball coming right at you and the server is a hard server then let the ball bounce off of your arms... don't swing and the number 1 rule is DON'T LET IT DROP! That is the worst mistake you could ever do. When your serving make sure your body is straight made sure you hand it straight if you serve with your hand open. Your fingers don't need to be right next to each other but you want a little space in between them. When you toss the ball up in a serve make sure it is high enogh so you can hit it but make sure it's not to high!!What do you do when you know a boy likes you?
Try to relax and when you are at tryouts , try showing the coach how much of a team player you are, encourage other players and talk to everyone, keep a really good attitude and give it the best you got.Have fun and good luck.
P.S. you may not always be the best but the coaches really like team players!
