What is a good exersice for getting in shape for volleyball?
well i am a libero so i have to know how to set. i suggest that you go up against the wall and start off there. if not have someone toss a ball to you all over the court and u have to rush over there and set it back to the person who threw it to u.and have them move to different positions like outside, middle and right side. and don't forget the back row as wellI'm scared. Will playing volleyball make my butt big!?
start getting in excellent shape, work out even if you are in good shape. That sounds really good, just don't over do it and hurt yourself. For setting and accuracy, take your time on these. It takes time and patience to learn them. If you mess up don't worry about it.
Setting: I'm sure you know how to set. Just make sure to keep your back straight, bend your knees, and elbows, and push up as hard as you can with your finger-tips. Just keep praticing.
Accuracy: Try to aim for one spot on the court, keep aiming at that one spot. Once you can hit it, make sure you do it a few times, then aim for a different area. Make sure your arm points to where you are aiming. Use your middle finger as a guide, just don't stick your middle finger out though lol. Keep your hand in line with your arm when you snap your wrist, and aim your middle finger at the spot.
I hope I have helped you, I have been playing for around five years, I am a sophomore in High School. If I didn't answer your questions fully, please feel free to e-mail me and ask me anything!
If this question is more than 2 hours old then dont answer it. I need the answer NOW AND FAST!?
OMG SAME HERE...I LOVE VOLLEYBALL...ITS MA LIFE TO..OMG I AM SO HAPPY .YAY..HHAHAHOK Accuracy on what?? well the setting just start slow like on the wall then move into drill like butterfly where you set to a target which also can help your passing accuracy if that what you ment. also start setting a ball the slowly start to sit down then after you have sat down then started to lie down then startedt o rise back up this will help with setting. hitting Accuracy make sure you snacp your wrist and your shoulder are in the court. If its severing then take your time and make sure its a good toss. ohh when you go to the camp take everything the person who runs it saids and put it to use. they are usally the best help!
Which can you do on a serve? Block or spike? Or neither?
practice && repititionWhat sport is better volleyball or soccer?
I suggest stop thinking about yourself and think about the rest of your team. It seems like you're all about me me me. What's up with that. All that will lead to is one of the other girls wanting to spike the ball in your crotch to get a good laugh. That would be kind've funny. It's a funniest home videos thing.I need to write a theme about a time to remember?
Start condition your body NOW. run 2 miles every day, eat well & sleep well. You will then survive the camp.Have fun playing.
Does anyone have some middle school team building activities?
I went to three volleyball camps when I was in high school, and the best advice to you is to definitely make sure you are in shape before you go to camp (you'll be playing A LOT, so your first step is to make sure that you can keep up with everyone.)Second, at most camps they offer specialized area clinics (i.e., serving, hitting, setting, etc.) Make sure that you really use this time to work on your weaker areas so that you can become a better all-around player. If there are enough clinics, it wouldn't hurt to maybe go to one that is even in one of your stronger areas--since there is always room for improvement.
Finally, I would definitely not be afraid to ask questions to the coaches there. It's their job to teach you, and you want to get the most out of your camp experience. Plus, if there are areas that you are struggling with, it's great to get different ideas from people on what you can do to improve.
Good luck, and have fun!
