If you played club volleyball and were going to Tucson with your whole team and were going to stay in a hotel room with your teammates and yourcoaches next door, would you let your 12 year stay there?

for sure let her travel! she will be happy to have fun with her teammates! I have been traveling with volleyball since I was like 11 and I love it! maybe she will be a little scared to travel at first without parents, but encourage her and tell her that everything will be ok.What do I do if my volleyball coach won't let me play my position.?
I would, it's an experience that a 12 yr old doesnt easily forget. especially with the tournament playing experience. After this happens once, then your 12 yr old can be a bit more independent and more out going.just be sure to tell them what's right and wrong, and make sure they understand, b/c a 12 yr old is still VERY impressionable / gulliable. but then again, some 12 yr olds are also VERY mature.
if only they understand what the word trouble means... and they know better than to cause it, then, yes, let the 12 yr old go.
but IF they're still playing the "immature" role, then forget it.
wait a couple of yrs when they're a bit older.
and if you let them know, tell them the truth about 'trouble', peer pressure etc.. and tell them how to stay out of if you think that's the case.

To add to QSD's answer, it could also teach maturity, too, and that is a very important for everyone to learn as soon as possible. Never pass up a chance to let a child learn how to act on his or her own when supervision will be at least semi-present.yes...if you parents dont let you they are completely overreacting

i would because the the coach would care about ur child or however.Your child should be able to go some were with out you some times.plus ur child has to play volleyball and thats the reason she is goin,RIGHT? u can call her on her trip sometimes durin the day,too.More Questions & Answers...
