What is the average vertical of men's pro volleyball?

Someone told me that pro volleyball players spike the ball at the height of the uppermost part of a basketball backboard and i wanna know if this is true ssince it seems that that would be a pretty high jump

Volleyball?

The average verticle would be around 36". They hit the ball in indoor ball just under the top of the antena which is at 11'. All this is under optimal conditions. Good pass, set, etc. Middle hits are different of course where speed is more of a factor.

Is volleyball a good sports or track & Field or both and why?

Actually no, because when i see them play it always falls on the ground first bec. it doesn't fly and its gonna be an error for the men!

Volleyball help??
