What is it like at a juniors volleyball tournament?
Tomorrow I am competing in a volleyball tournament for a 14 and under club team. I am a little nervous, and am wondering if anybody has any experience with volleyball tournaments, what they are like? Thank you in advance. =)

They are the best! I was in your position last year and had the same exact feelings. Don't worry about it, getting nervous won't help you or your teammates, just go out there and do what you came there to do. Play volleyball. If you think of it this way then you will not only play, but you will probably play better. Basically what a tournament is like, is a whole bunch of teams doing what they love. To play on a tournament team you already showed that you have a dedication to the sport, and all the girls around you, whether they're on your team or another, are showing that dedication too. It will be tiring and you will probably be going between a transition of sitting to playing to reffing and so on. The only tips i could give you is to make sure you eat right, don't be so nervous, and whenever you have an off time try and watch a team that you may play against. This will help. Even if you just watch a team that you have no idea who they are or where they are from it will help because you will still have at least part of your focus on volleyball. This will be my third year of participating in these tournaments, so trust me, they will get better. Good Luck!What are the Volleyball techniques?

I just competed in a Junior Volleyball Tournament for my 13 year old team. It is so much fun. There are hundreds of people cheering. Just listen carefully and watch the refree because all the noises are confusing. There are usually a few brackets. We got bronze in gold which means in the Gold bracket (the highest bracket) we got bronze (3rd) Go to www.abqjrs.com to see pictures of some experienced teams. It is so much fun and I wish you the best of luck!The first game can be a little sureal. You'll get into the flow. Watch the net, run for the ball, and make those serves go over! Eat properly. Can anyone tell me the rules and regulations of volleyball?
juniors vball tourneys can be fun but it depends on the intensity of ur team. if ur team goes after every ball on the court and can get it to the setter and get a kill it is really fun. if ur a hitter hit someone in the face then laugh at them dont feel bad my coach calls that a cookie and if u get a cookie kill serve or block u get a cookie. and one more thing dont be nervous cause then its no fun.Volleyball touriments are very fun!! But sometimes they can be very long.

In high school volleyball can you throw the ball up and let it drop?
THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN. I THINK THEY ARE BETTER THEN REGULAR SEASON BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SO MUCH. JUST TRY YOUR HARDEST AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE. AND DON'T FORGET TO BRING SOMETHING. LIKE A WATERBOTTLE, YOUR KNEE PADS, SHOES, LONG SOCKS, SHORTS, AND YOUR JERSY. MY FRIEND DID THAT ONCE AND SHE COULDN'T PLAY. GOOD LUCK!More Questions & Answers...
