Does anyone play high school volleyball?
i was thinking of signing up but i hear its hard if you can hit the ball over the net over hand. I already play softball but im also not sure if volleyball is the right thing for me. Just tell me...is it hard?

Volleyball is kind of hard. Yes you do have to serve the ball over hand and it can be rough but hang in there.my daugther play both sports now she is a Senior in high school.she had fun with both sport.if u can play softball that means Ur athletic. if u have a good coach she can help u along.if u can trow a softball Ur half way there already. just remember have fun.
Go for it! Who says that the only way you'll be good is if you can hit a ball over the net? You can be good at other things and still be amazing. My position is not to hit, not to serve, and not to set. I'm there to pass. Volleyball is a team sport and you're team will be with you, give it a try!
Volleyball is more of a sport that you need some sort of experience in before you just jump in. Even at the level of high school play. But if you're athletic and have a coach willing to use your athletic potential and train you to be a better volleyball player than go for it. It's one of the most exciting sports around.
Where can I play beach volleyball in Atlanta?
It is hard to judge if volleyball is hard or not if we don't know where you live. because volleyball more competitive in certain places. For example I live in central Kentucky where Volleyball is very competitive which means it is very hard and your average Joe can't just wake up one day and decide to play. although you can drive two hours to no mans land in the country where they just got volleyball and they want everyone they can get. And if you can overhand serve great if can't work on it. pretty much what I am saying if you live in a highly populated area your less likely to make a a volleyball team going into the sport with no experience than you are in a less populated area with no experience. Or at least that is how it is here in Kentucky. You take the advice from someone who has been playing volleyball for 6 years now. So yea!no its nt hard. It's a lot of fun!!
