I want my male friends to play vollyball with me after school because there is a club but they think its gay? I dont think so but what do you think?

No No No No No!!!A guy invented vball and it was originally a mens sport. When girls started to get into sports it got more popular for girls to play vball. A lot of HS have guy vball teams and if u look at all the vbal mags there are always at least half of the pics r guys vball so no it is not gay its awesome and also some mid schools only let guys play cause they r stronger (but in my opinion girls are as strong and even mor cordinated)

NO! its fun. i am a guy and i play with my friends...girls and boys!Heck no!! It's a sport where both men and women can have fun. I used to play varsity volleyball and co-ed intramurals. Gee, some of the women can spike as mean as some of the guys I used to play with!!.o_0

They wouldn't feel that way if they six-packed a blocker. They also wouldn't feel that way if they GOT six-packed by a hit! Volleyball looks easy to play and often times the non-volleyball athletes think they should just be able to excel as soon as they step on the court. Once they realize that there are a lot of different ways to screw up a pass, set or hit, they go back to playing soccer where all they have to do to the ball is run into it.wtf? r u serious? whats wron gwith your friends..?how old are they?
Tell them to ge their chubby-asses out of the club because they dont deserve to play. Man, head to your local beach and watch the guys playing there 2v2. In no way am I being cocky but its an incredible way to pick up girls, theyre always asking to play.

hahaha, i dealt with that same problem back when i played in high school. i would get taunted and ripped on by my friends because the majority of the guys i hung out with were on the rugby team.the best way to convince the haters is to show them what volleyball is. theyll make fun of it until they acutally see what happens.
i invited my friends to come to a home game one time. my team was a playoff caliber team, with confrence all stars, and i was the only all state outside hitter. early in the game, i talked my setter and told him to give my a quick chute to the outside, and put it over the block.
it was beautiful.
i took a full approach, jumped out of the freakin gym, and blasted it at their libero. the hit was much faster than he expected, and he took it straight in the nose! he got his feet knocked out from under him, fell over backwards, and i broke his nose.
now, im not saying this was nice, but it was very convincing.
