If you've played volleyball before..?
I think what you are doing right now is fine.but you should try to get alittle more muscle on your serving arm so it isnt so hard to hit it and it doesnt go over.that would be bad.How many spikes do the shoes of discus and hammer throwers have?
what you are doing is pretty good. I would suggest running more, 5 laps around a gym doesn't seem much, try 2 miles or something close to that. Secondly, volleyball needs really good core and very strong legs. I would suggest doing 3 X 10 reps of back squats with weight at the gym every day. Also, after sit ups start getting easy, carry a 5-10 lb. weight in your arms as you do your sit ups and you will feel the difference. Ask a trainer at your gym for other workouts. I do RDL's, back and front squats, and several arm workouts. Remember to keep your arms strong.Good Luck!!
Where can I play indoor volleyball in New York City?
ur workout seems pretty good, but i suggest u should run more distance, like 1 mile then move up to two.Do you think that volleyball is a sport?
Volleyball is a special brand of sport that requires endurance and short bursts of energy. I suggest adding line touches or suicides to your routine. This will improve your reaction time and court movement. Box jumps will also help you become more explosive. Shoulder exercises are key to having muscle development in your arms (biceps and triceps are not what does the most work). I would also suggest contacting your coach. He/ She will be impressed with your dedication and willingness to train early.More Questions & Answers...
