hit the ball over the net, you have three hits(bump set spike)
a bump- is holding your hands together and hit the ball staight up
a set- is holding your hands above your head and your thumbs make diamond and set the ball up
a spike- stand at the 10 ft line and take a three step approach and hit the ball over the net with an open hand
underhand serve- square up to the net and hold the ball in front of you and swing your arm and hit the ball with a closed fist
overhand serve-square up to the net and hold the ball in front of you and throw it up(high enough so you can hit it but in front of you so if you let it drop it will hit your toe) and bring your hand by your ear and throw the ball up and hit with an open hand
postions-the serving postion is call number 1 and then you keep going around the court numbering 1-6 until you get back to server. there is the server, front row setter, middle blocker, front outside hitter, back row setter, back row middle .
