Is there a quick way i can get the smell out of my volleyball knee pads?

Question:So usually after volleyball practice i completely forget about washing my kneepads and fall sleep or whatever.

the next day my kneepads smell horrrrrrible. Its disgusting. Washing my kneepads consistently gets very tedious since after one practice, the smell comes back again. From sweat, that is..

Is there something i could carry with me so that i could quickly use it and completely neutralize the smell?

or maybe something that i can wash it with so that the smell wont return for a while.

Put Drier sheets lining the inside of the knee pad and let them sit over night, it absorbs the odor.

Where did volleyball start?

use baking soda. it absorbs the bad smell. your kneepads might be crusted with the stuff after, though.

Whilst travelling or on a tournament, keep them in a plastic ziploc bag with a bit of baby-powder in there as well (I even know one girl who keeps orange rind in there as well!), make sure you air them out, and let them dry.

For neutralizing the smell, a can of spray-deodorant helps - perhaps use something strong! Baking soda works, or white vinegar.

Wash them with bleach, and perhaps a fabric softener (in addition to regular detergent).

GIRLS ONLY! girls if we're in a NO RULES fight with a guy whats the best way 2 distract him then hurt him bad

fabreeze and perfume!

Does this sound like the right thing to do?

I have two or three sets of knee-pads that I switch back and forth. They don't smell as bad becuase you don't use the same pair everytime...and I have never heard of anyone who washes their knee-pads after EVERY practice...that would just be tedious...you gotta live with the smell...there's not much you can do.

There is nothing you can do to get rid of the smell, but you can mask the smell...use perfume or when you aren't using them or they are in a your bag, put a freshner in your bag and it can help also.

good luck
