Why are girls in a volleyball uniform so hot?
Start practicing jumping for at the net, do monkey crawls-when you bend your knees and touch the floor and then shuffle to the right and bend to touch the floor again-it helps with staying low for bumping and then being able to get back up fast to hit at the net. Do sprinting drills of short to long distances, Practice serving overhand, practice setting no matter your height or position it can always come in handy to be able to do it-also practice back setting it is much more difficult. It is also good to practice sliding on the floor to prevent injury when you have to make a save at the last minute. Good luck! What are good some good practice tips for volleyball?
I think you should Take a few camps in the summer and just work on your hits with a friend. It's always good to be prepared. I'm in the same situation, except I didn't play last year.Good Luck!! ;)

Get in on some summer camps, and play JO (club) volleyball! That'll keep you in shape until tryouts.Where can i join a volleyball team in Miami, FL?
i am not sure where you live but i know that sac state gives ome camps wher eyou are coached the players and i know that it really helped me get readyI am going to start playing more beach vball...any good workout tips to whip me into shape faster?
Well you should definitely stay in shape...go for a morning jog or lift weights at a local gym. This will make your tryouts a lot easier than if you were not in shape. My other advice is to join a camp. I did three camps the past summer and when i tried out i made the jv team as a freshman. So doing these things will for sure help you!! goodluck! How do you get a ace in volleyball?
I agree with the first person!I still need a name for a volleyball team! come on help me out guys!?
I do not have a site but from personal experience, you need to be a good athlete. MOST coaches find their team by weeding out bad athletes. They usually have you run two miles in 13 minutes max. Also, don't try to be good at one position but be an all around good player. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT! Put all the effort you have into it. Everyday try to run and exercise. Also pick up jazzercise or pilates for extra flexability and strength. During TV commercials do situps, pushups, leg lifts, or the bicycle. Eat healthy food instead of heavy sugar products for a month before hand. There are also volleyball club teams that you can try out for where you earn a lot of experience. Lots of little things make all the difference. Good luck!!Dose anyone have any tips on javelin?
I don't know any websties. But i suggest going to camps, and if your school has practices in the summer attend them, because when freshmen come to practice you get to meet the team, practice, and plus it shows the team you are dedicated. If you don't know of any practices I suggest going to a beach volleyball court with friends (the sand helps your jumping ability and strengthens your legs) For work outs i suggest you stay fit in the summer, I run everyday, for about 1/2 an hour(helps strengthen your legs). I also lift weights(strengthens arms and legs), and like I said before attend practices. Also keep practicing your overhand serve, bumping, setting, and such. Good Luck!!Take it from a girl who has started on varsity since her freshmen year and will be a senior this upcoming year. If you really want to be prepared show the coaches that you have a great endurance and could run and work as hard as they push you. you can work your endurance by running laps start out with a few and keep working your way up. also do plyometrics (boxes, lines, jump ropes, ladders etc.) and just get your hand on a ball with your friends or by yourself at least once a week so you will be prepared when the tryouts come up. If you follow these little tips and make sure you have a great attitude at tryouts you have nothing to worry about.
