People with specs, do you surf with contacts if you cant see without your specs or do you wear your specs?

I wear contacts when I surf and have never had any trouble. I just close my eyes any time I have to go under water. The water around here (SC) doesn't have good visibility anyway so I am not missing much. I would never surf with glasses on. Too much of a risk they get knocked off and it would bother me that they have a film of water on them at all times.
