Beach for surfing bigginer?
Question:Since I started learning surfing, but my friends who can teach me live in OC. I am looking for the beach for bigginers in LA area, so I can just go by myself and practice without bothering skilled surfers.
Could you recommend specific location for surfing biginner? I am very tiny person and I have hard time to carry heavy surfboard, so I prefer the beach where I can park nearby. If you can tell me the street name where I can park, it's even better.
Also, is there any website where I can find surfing buddy? I want to find someone who just started like me.

I suggest Torrance or Redondo Beaches. Get yourself to PCH and go west on Torrance Bl or Artesia Bl...both hit the beaches eventually. So far as a buddy goes...Google it...there must be a site for that somewhere...If not go to the beach and check with the Lifeguard(s) they sometimes know the regulars and can hook you up with someone.
