What's the best way to buy a secondhand surfboard?
I live in Orange County and I'm a beginner. I'll be praticing one or two times a week, so I think I'll be looking for a longboard, a mini-mal, or a pop-out. Any suggestions? Thanks, everyone.

Look around in all the local surf shops, they have a lot of used boards. when picking one out make sure it doesn't have any cracks, dings or water damage. depending on the shop they may even let you take it out for a test ride. also look around and see how much new boards cost that way you're not paying the same price for an used board.Where can I find a good deal on a used boat?

Is water polo dangerous or not?
In addition to Paluzzi81's answer, quite a few surfshops have swapmeets, or know of swapmeets going on in the area. They are perfect for buying boards. All of the boards there are going to be used and you can negotiate with the seller. I've found some really good boards this way. And again, not that expensive.More Questions & Answers...
