Some of the beaches in SW Tasmania, Australia are absolute rippers. The roaring 40's travel two thirds of the way round the world before crashing onto Tasmania's west coast, makes for some spectacular big wave surfing and wind surfing. Only prob is because of harsh weather most of the west coast is uninhabited, and remote, therefore hard to get to. But well worth it.australia.
