Can anyone recommend water skis and bindings for a novice?

Size? Type? Are the bindings different sizes?

I would recomend getting a pair of combo skis. This will give you the ability to advance to slalom skiing without having to get another ski. For now the bindings will be adjustable to acomodate a large variety of foot sizes but at you advance in technique you will want to get a higher quality binding (and ski) that is sized properly for you.

Connelley, O'Brien and HO are all good brands but you could just go to your local sporting goods store and pick up a set there. The key thing would be the size of the skis. You want to make sure that you get the right size for the person that's going to be using them. You can fine some sizing information and skis available at www.barts.com
