Dive computers: which one do you recommend?
I've really enjoyed using the Oceanic comp that was loaned to me for my ocean dives (what a blast they were!) and I know that I need to get one of my own soon. I would like something simple, yet nitrox compatible that won't break the bank. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have heard people caught tropical marine (warm water) fish on Long island, NY during hot summer.?
Oceanic is a good line-- they have nitrox exclusives (you know you have to dedicate at least one cylinder to nitrox only...) from $299 and up.You can look at some of the websites-- scubapro.com and discountdivers.com-- I've had great success with the stuff I bought from them. I'd use precaution buying on ebay-- I've heard bad stories. You don't want to scimp on your basic air gear.. buy a used back up of an old analog gauge too.. those you can find at "playitagainsports" venues. Or online places. Can get a basic old time gauge for about $30 for backup. Computers have their own problems at times;-)
