How fast do u tow a wakeboarder thats trying to jump the wake?

Skiing what do you think it is?

This is kind of up to the wakeboarder; I would recommend pulling them at the speed where they feel the most confortable as this will allow them the confidence to jump. However, if you want a number, I like to ride a little bit slower than I ski...so, about 25 mph should be a good place to start; then just let the rider decide if he/she wants to go up a little or down a little.

I would recomend about 18-20 mph with a bunch of people in the back of the boat, it creates a monster wake that is easy to jump, the only downside is it guzzles gas.

I am having difficulty pumping on a shortboard (surfboard), what is the correct way of doing it?

not as fast as you may think, 25 is what i usually do, but i let the wakeboarder give me signals to tell me if it feels too slow or too fast, when i'm going, i like about 28
