When buying a used surfboard, what is the difference between normal pressure dents and a dangerous amount?

Where can i find info about surfing compition in hawaii in april?
Pressure dents happen all the time and aint avoidable, usually they are just from your knee or from sittin on your board. Boards can last for years, it just means they wont look as good as a new one. A pressure dent is different to a ding, a ding is a hole that water gets into, I wouldnt buy a board with a ding, but a few dents aint gonna affect it all that much.Surfboards look old very quikly, so its cool if you can buy a new one every year, or every 6 months. And its fun to buy a second hand one for cheap that you can just thrash around on.
Taking BS trip to Northern Tier Canada. Need Jungle Boots. What are the best jungle boots to buy ?
i would explain but i cant be bothered sorryThere should be a few, but not too many... depends on the age of the board and the price they are asking. Ideally, there won't be any, but that's unlikely. If it looks too dinged up, just offer a lower price. Shop around at the surf shops and talk to the people there - they do it every day.
Cheers!
Pressure dings are normal. Make sure that the board is not de-laminating or separating from the foam. If it is the board won't last much longer. Also, look at the area where the dings are. If there is a lot of discoloring that means that water is getting into the board. The board will become heavy and eventually the foam will become water logged.
