I just moved to Connecticut, Where can I go surfing?
I live in the Northwest of the state no where near the ocean, but willing to travel a little way! I don't own a board here- would need to rent one.

You probably will not have much luck in Connecticut itself but Rhode Island has some really good spots. Surfer Magazine has a travel aid that might help you, I think its called Surf Spot but I am not at all sure of the name. During the winter, Jersey is a great place to surf. But yea, if you really want to surf, the Pacific is the way to go.I'll be moving to Hawai'i next year cause I can't take the east coast much longer. We've had 2 months of a flat spell so far... it really sucks...
