How many kitesurfing deaths worldwide?

Answers:

I need info on the Atlantic Blue Marlin!?

I'm not sure what is has been recently, but I want to say that maybe 10-15 a year. Even at that, I think it's a pretty high number. With the number of new safety-systems coming out and the newest improvements in kite designs, I would guess that pretty soon kitesurfing-related fatalities will be almost non-existent.

I've been to Costa Rica for surfing (a beginner). Where are other good surf destinations to go in Feb/Mar?

Last year I understand there were at least 20. Still a great sport and you probably know that the deaths are due to people not letting go of their kites and therefore slamming into buildings, cliffs or getting hit by cars.
