I cant get my 90hp mercury tilt trim to work. I even put a new part on it. It just clicks. I have new battery?

HEY!! IF you need more help post a comment and I try to talk you through this, like if you need to know how to bypass the Solenoid!!! YOU may not need to buy any parts! I have cleaned many motors and the old Brushes work fine!Bypass the Solenoid and see if the Motor turn. If, the Motor not work it could be the Brushes or most times it has got Moisture in it. Two Screws on top, remove. When you pop off the Cap, this where the Brushes are and they will spring in, do not worry. Pull the Armature and clean it, put a Drill in a Vise and the Armature in the Drill and turn on and clean the Brass/Copper area with a fine Emory Cloth and then spray clean with Electrical Cleaner. Clean the Magnets inside the Round Case the Armature in and spray clean with the Electrical cleaner. IF, you replace the Brushes you Solder them in. Pay Attention where the Screws went in the metal case, how it positioned on top of the Pump. Put back together, may have to put Armature in first and set into the pump, very easy, put on the Magnet case.
NOW to get the Brushes down on the Armature. Take two real fine copper wires and tie them back into the Spring Case one simple wrap. Then when it down on the Armature the wires will easily pull free being small. Good Luck!
