Any beaches to recommend for beginner/learning to surf in Australia east coast?

Question:did some research, know bout the popular ones, surfer's paradise etc but was wondering if there are any farther up north along the coast that are more suitable for learners, ie, lesser people, smaller waves. thanks yer all!

Answers:

Are east coat surfers as good as west coast surfers?

Surfers paradise (despite the name) is not the greatest place to surf, let alone to visit. It is full of crappy souveneir shops and is practically a concrete jungle.

I would suggest visiting Manly's surf school in Sydney.
They are reputable, and Manly has smaller waves suitable for a learner surfer.

3 questions from a surfing beginner.?
