Where are good surfing beaches on Long Island, NY?

I just moved out here from San Diego, are there any good beaches to surf on Long Island?

What is your rebuttal when somebody says sailing is not a sport?

I don't know if they are good surfing beaches, but Jones Beach and Robert Moses are the two most popular beaches here and if people are surfing it'll be there. I don't think people are really into surfing here on Long Island.
