Slip N Slide users:?

Question:Hi- getting ready to throw a big party for my
grade schooler "graduating" to middle school.
For those of you who have made your own Slip N Slides, please tell me which one is better...
tarps or plastic sheeting? Also, dish detergent or cooking oil? I'm thinking of using those
inflatable rafts so they won't bruise themselves up. Thanks for your input!

um dish detergent because then the kids dont have oil all over them and soap is water soluble so it washes off um dont use rafts the kids arent going to get bruised they are kids plastic sheeting works the best because it is more slippery then tarps because tarps are woven and plastic is a uniform material also from my personal experience with slip n slides if the water rom ur hose is cold make sure u put the whole 40 foot long thing out in the sun cuz when i had one it was always under a tree and it got cold after a few slides even when it was 90 out and humid
