There are lots of movements in the windsurfing world today, and speed is coming back strong. After demonstrating that the speed world record could be captured at the open sea, a series of events are currently planned for this year. Production boards are now welcomed to those events, and I am sure that they will be very competitive. This new tour is the brainchild of Bjorn but also supported by several brands like Naish, Neil Pryde, Proof, Fanatic and F2. The latter even launched a production speed board as well as helping Finian Maynard to break the world record at an incredible 46.83 knots. Exocet have also been pushing as much as our finances permitted by helping Ben Van der Steen to enter the Master Of Speed and by subsequently launching our own speed board, - the new WARP.
