a good compound combination starting with rubbing the compound on followed by wet compounding using a medium speed grinder with a sponge head which you keep wet followed by a dry buff with a dry sponge head and to finish the job off after a quick rub down with a dry cloth is to use wax which you hand rub on and and now for the elbow grease job of rubbing in it offg3 Compound is good followed by a high quality car liquid wax

Use a cleaner/wax that is made for fiberglass.
If it is very oxidized use a buffing or rubbing compound first
An orbital waxer or a buffer works a lot faster than doing it by hand
