Does anyone know about britsih hydroplane racing in the 160s?

Question:my grand used to race them all over the country. At danson park, bedfont lank and ,many many other sites. Just wanted to foind more information about them. I can not find a mention of hydroplanes at either lake in the uk. Does anyone have any pictures records about these
