Pike normally stick to eating small fish, crayfish, shrimp etc. but have also been known to attack small mammals when swimmingIf the fish was hungry enough, it might attack a small dog. If it only hit once then I imagine the dog would be ok, but there could be damage done if the pike kept attacking
