Wyndamm, Hunter, Whiteface, Gore are the four best. There are smaller places in the finger lakes and over near Buffalo.

Holiday Valley, near Ellicottville, NY. Rated among Ski Mag's top 10 in the east. About an hour from Buffalo. Check out their website... www.holidayvalley.com. By the way, unfortunately they have had little snow so far this year. I think most NY resorts are short on snow. This week should change that, though.
