I need help finding some bindings.?

Question:The general feel seems to be one of dislike for the step in bindings.
I am a beginer, and have no intentions on doing any stunt/etc... at least for now.
What I am concerded with is the ski lift.
Last year was my first year on a board, and i hated having to try to hobble through the line with one foot out sideways, then getting off with only one foot strapped in.
all I want are the albsolut easiest bindings to attatch and release that are made.
Performance is not an issuse at this time, however, once I become more confident in my boarding, I may simply upgrade to more durable equipment.
Any GOOD suggestions on some simple, cheap, bindings, that don't invlove sitting down to take off.
Thanks
(ps. my typing skills are about as good as my boarding skills)

As someone who went with step-ins as a beginner, I'd advise you to avoid them. They don't have the natural feel that strap-ins have. If you want conveinence...look at flow bindings...the back folds down so you can kick into them on the lift...they still feel like strap ins. I still like the drake bindings better though, and with a little practice and a stomp pad you won't have any trouble getting off of a lift.

When will the ski season begin in Tahoe?

i like ride bindings. if you plan on going up more than once a year you should invest in good bindings. you will get over the lift. and the line, well welcome to the club. just make sure your stance is correct so you are comfortable. if you want cheep go with the cheapest flows you can buy new. they are step in and easy to use. however if you get ride you will probably buy them once.

Very important - why wont my coach teach me axles or doubles?

Go for technine bindings. they come in XL sizes, and their relatively cheap. Getting them fixed is also a snap. happy shredding!

Park Skis.?

What jwood meant by only having to buy them once is that they're the best you can get, and will never wear out or break. Ride is the way to go when it comes to bindings, imo. They've got it dialed-in.

Another way to go would be Technine. They're less expensive, but just as good. And besides that, they are the ONLY bindings that come with a lifetime guarantee.

Avoid step-ins at all costs.

Does anyone know a ski resort for summer that is cheap?

You don't want cheap bindings - that's a given, or you'll be buying more throughout the season. We all hobble through the lift lines, but to save on time get FLOW bindings, my bro uses them and swears by them. I stick with Burtons, and haven't gone back.

Step ins don't give you the ankle support to really carve I've found, I started in them as well as some of the others here who've commented, they just don't give the support that I've found with my Burtons - FLOWS will allow you to keep from sitting down and straping in, they snap in and secure you real well.

I can ski double blacks and back country and a little bit of park, how do I get sponsored?

everyone has too take one foot out to get on the lift and off its for safety incase you fall while getting on or off soo you can get out the way just try a stomp pad and your foot wont slide as you come off the lift

but i swear by cap straps i love bindings with them specially burton
they give you all the support you need and are easyily ajustable
plus you don't get numb toes half way though the day cause the strap cups your toes instead of going over the top of them =]

but as you said you want the easyest bindingss possible i wouldn't say these are exactly hard to get in and out off but if thats what your looking for flow bindings are probbly for you

its like a big sock that you just slip you foot into and close the back

hope it helps
