Anywhere in Colorado after a huge storm.
Do you think this would be a good competition dress?
ColoradoAnywhere in the Alps. I go skiing in the Italian Alps and prefer it over any American place I've been to. In the same town you can have bunny slopes to glacier skiing, mostly with natural snow, and even some cross-country.
i would recommend in the snow.
My personal favorite is Vail, CO (due to it's size and great snow), but I've never been skiing in Europe before. Europe, I hear, has better places terrain-wise, but their snow isn't very fluffy. No offense to Europe, I've visited there on a non-ski trip before, it's sweet. Beware of Whistler, for while its large amount of terrain is very tempting, the snow is often crud. One more thing: Chamonix Mont-Blanc in the French Alps as well as Zermatt in Switzerland have extremely good reputations.
The only thing that you shouldn't do is ski in East U.S., unless you are like us locals who have razor skis for cutting ice! (We looked like idiots carving powder in Vail with those babies on.)
Whats the temperature of the ice in curling?
Austria has some great skiing, and one can even ski in the summer on glaciers thereMore Questions & Answers...
