You should start learning in Freestyle 5. You really do it in freestyle 5. Trust me, you should not be excited to start doing axels, man do they kill me!What is alpine mountaineering?
i kinda dont understand ur question, but i can floor an axel? i dont understand the delta stuff though.hope that helped ;)Does any one no of some really good cheers?
in ISI I believe the you need an axel to pass FS 5...in USFSA you need an axel to pass Juvenile level...however you sometimes the jump earlier b/c you're allowed to do it in competitionWhat country has won the most World Men's Curling Championships?
I think you meant to ask "At what level are you TAUGHT an Axel?" Most coaches start teaching axel preparation once the skater has a strong backspin, waltz jump, and loop jump.It is a required element for the ISI FS5 test.
The USFSA Basic Skills program does not have an axel element. The axel is required on the Juvenile FS test. However, most skaters begin learning it once they've mastered the Pre-Preliminary test elements.
If you could do one thing on ice really well what would it be?
L G gave a good answer. Are longer poles better in xc skiing?
Most people start to learn their Axel when they are ready to learn it, but it's on the USFSA test of Freestyle 5 or Juvenile- they also do have a Juvenile level in competition which does not have an Axel in it, but when you reach the Juvenile level you will be pretty close to having a solid Axel. You can read more about it on USFSA's website at www.usfsa.orgHmm.. well, you dont really get taught an Axel at a specific point. After you are consistently landing all your single jumps (waltz through lutz) your coach usually decides it's about time to learn your Axel. You're gonna fall a lot and it's gonna hurt, but it's really worth it. If you are consistently landing your jumps and your coach still doesn't teach you, ask her when you can start your Axel.
To pass onto Junivile, you need to have an Axel but most skaters have it way before then. The fastest way to get to your axel is to practice hard.
Hope that helps
