How hard is it to learn to snowboard?

I have never skied or snowboarded before how hard will it be to learn and will I fall alot?

I've been skiing since i was about ten (so about 11 years now) and I tried snowboarding two years ago - i fell so much. no matter who you are, when you first snowboard, you will fall, and generally a lot. but that is what makes it so incredible when you are able to make a trip down the slopes without falling.

Once the pain is gone, the pride remains.

dont give up - and try it - i am now riding black diamonds and loving it.
