Is heavnly a fun place to snowboard? is there ne other ski resort near heavenly?

Heavenly is a great place to ride. The only issues are long lines, and some annoying flats on a few runs. All things considered it is the best place around except for maybe Squaw on the north side of the lake. There are lots of other places like Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Homewood, Kirwood, Sierra, etc. but they are all considerably smaller.Am writing a poem about winter, any ideas on how I could start??
I've never been but Tahoe is generally a good place and Hevenly is one of the best there I've heard. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but you could always go to the frosty rider or snowboard forums and find out about it.Heavenly is awesome. Best resort in Tahoe. Other resorts in tahoe area are Sierra at tahoe, northstar, and kirkwood. But i love the snow at heavenly. It has terrain for all levels. great tree powder runs and also groomed runs

Squaw Valley is much better then Heavenly... but.. if you are going to ride Heavenly stay in the Mott Canyon area.. it's awesome when the snow is deep!! shock ah gnar gnar in the pow pow!!Its ok but if u really want 2 have fun go to Breckenridge Colorado

i've never snowboarded there but the village is pretty sick! my favorite resort in the area is Northstar, its in Truckee, CA. other resorts... Mt. Rose, kirkwood, sugar bowl, squaw valley, sierra at tahoe, homewood, uuum i heard mammoth is pretty sick too. my vote goes to Northstar though.More Questions & Answers...
