What is a good resort near Salt Lake City for an intermediate snowboarder?
I'm looking for a good resort near Salt Lake City to snowboard at. I'm thinking of Park City, but I'd be open to checking out other spots. I've got a tight budget so I'd like to also know if it's better to stay in SLC and drive out to the resorts.

Snowbird is great... So is Alta. Far better than Park City. If you're on a budget stay at a cheap hotel/motel towards Sandy or even downtown on the bus line, you can get up the canyons very cheap and quickly on the bus. Park City is expensive.More Questions & Answers...
