I bought special socks for snowboarders. You can get them at any winter sports store or at the mountain lodge shop. They cost from $15 to $20 and keep me warm throughout the day.Would there be a size difference for boots and bindings between Burton and Salomon?
I like to wear fuzzy socks...those things kept my feet warm when I was just sledding with sneakers on! They are also cheap too and they are very comfy. Is size 38 equals to mens medium?
Here in Japan, they sell toe warmers. You just open the packet up, put it under your sock. The heat starts when it hits air. Not sure if they sell them in the states, but I'm sure you can find something close to it.What do i need to know before snowboarding?
Avoid wearing Cotton or wool socks if possible.I recommend some Acrylic based socks or some sort "wicking" socks to pull moisture off of your foot. That in turn will keep your feet warmer and alot more comfortable.
They have some with warmers in them but they are a pain IMO.
Make sure your pants go over your boots to prevent snow going into them as much as possible.
