What is the fuss over the sport of curling?

I think it is fun to glide across the ice on shoes and it does take athleticism as it takes strong abs(yes abs have other benefits then a 6 pack) to be a sweeper and you need upper body strength to push the rock. No it is as physical as hockey or skiing but it does take more then enough athletic ability to be considered a sport.

I'm no fan of curling but if we take into consideration your 'criteria' for sport... how about archery, shooting, bobsleigh, skeleton, luge... all of them are Olympic sports that require a skill without an extreme physical activity... (e.g. compared to hockey an such...)
