The Winter Olympics are coming_Don't get so excited.?

Question:Who else loathes the Olympics and finds them to be mainly dull, and rarely with television coverage focused on the "niche" events we might actually want to see instead of just the downhill skiiers and X Games style nonsense?

I just know I am going to find something good on NBC other than Law & Order when the blasted Olympics start and interrupt them.

Thank goodness I rarely watch the NBC and related thereto channels.

Really, no wonder people think that the world is heading in the wrong direction! The Winter Olympics are the biggest sporting festival in the world, second only to the Summer Games. How can you be so darn negative?

It does feel like the Olympics have "jumped the shark". Too much talk, too much coverage of ancillary stuff and not enough sports. Especially curling.

(Additional comment: I would fathom a guess that the World Cup is more likely second to the Summer Olympics, not the Winter Olympics.)
