This is probably not the nearest but one has just opened at the Piece Hall in Halifax - until January. This is an unique beautiful Victoria building surrounded by shops and eateries and would make a lovely day out. The cost is £7.00 per hour, reduced for children. Skates can be provided. Give it a go - you will like the Piece Hall and I don't think you will be disappointed with the Ice Rink.
