Snowboard too short?

If you cut them, they will probably just unravel on you. It would be uncomfortable if you stuff them in the boot. I tried that with mine, and I hated it. I then tried wrapping them around the back of the boot, but I didn't like that, either. Now I just double knot them a few extra times, and that works for me. If they are extremely long, then you could cut them, but you would have to glue or sew up the end somehow.

Who would be your fantasy podium for 2010?

Engineer a device to keep them from flapping about...maybe an oversized scrunchie for example.

Buying a snowboard?

you can puy them in your boot if that doesnt work you can buy some tights that go all the way over your boots

Where did curling originate from?

The guy I bought em from said to double lace them. You should ask an instructor to show you.

"Getting your skates laced properly will enhance your balance and control and make your skates more comfortable. First, loosen the laces completely and position your foot when lacing - don't just step in the skate and lace it up, but set your heel firmly in the rear when tightening the eyelet area up.

Second, you don't have to lace all areas equally tightly. Put in overhand twists (like the first step of tying the bow) at strategic places to keep the laces from "evening out". Remove the slack through the first 3 or 4 holes but don't tighten too much or you'll stop your circulation. Tie a twist (optional), then lace tightly for the rest of the holes to hold your ankle firm. At the top of the holes tie a double twist, and cross-lace the hooks (that is, lace them so they are crossed at the hooks). For the last two hooks, lace fairly loosely so you can bend your ankle.

When breaking in new skates, you can leave the top hooks unlaced and skip the top hole to make them more comfortable and start a crease in the leather at the ankle."

Hitting a jump?

Once you are done lacing them up, wrap them around your boot at about where your ankle is. once you use up enough string, tie it like normal. Hope that help

What size boots should i get for snow skiing if i wear a 13-14 and how big of skis should i buy and bindings?

I'd probably cut them off. Do not tie them around your ankle because it'll slow down your blood circulation which will be bad if it keeps on going like that.
