What do you think of my board?
Question:I am 5'8" 135-140lbs male, I currently ride a Never Summer System Board 155cm... I just started this season but learned all of the basic techniques (slips, falling leaf, connecting turns) and also can do (carving, ollies, 180's). I mainly ride freeride, but would like to get into jumps, spins, downhill tricks, and riding rails/boxes next season..
question is, what do you think of the board I currently ride?
Answers:
It is there entry level board, but from the specs it seems to be really good for one.
As for the length, 155cm is a freeride size for your weight.
Maybe for your next board, you should try out their Evo model, and probably go down to a 151cm or even a 149cm if you are wanting to do more freestyle. The Evo also has a 3 year warranty. Use the Evo for freestyle and the System for your freeriding. A shorter board will make it easier for you to spin and do tricks as its lighter.
If your board works for you, it's fine. I myself have my eye on this Forum at my local shop. People say it rips.
What's the core of a Morrow Rocket snowboard made of?
wow, ur lucky to pick that board first...you already have a good freestyle board, if you go to this link you can see yoru board was basically made for hte parkhttp://www.neversummer.com/boardselector...
The only thing is its kinda big, if i could suggest one thing its to size down to like a 150.
I ride a 155 rome agent for park and im 6'2 170lb
with parks boards you can always go a size or couple down from what you would ride normally
Never Summer make great boards - if you like it, what anybody else thinks is irrelevant!
