Need some tips for snowplow stop please?
I know, I know, the snowplow stop is one of the easiest skating moves ever and yet I just can't quite seem to get it lol. I bend my knees, turn my heels out, and sit back into it but something about it just isn't working for me. It's amazing how after just two practices I'm great at crossovers and yet I still can't stop lol. I'd love some pointers/tips please!

What is the most easy way for a beginer to skii?
You need to bend your knees a lot, and push out as hard as you can. Make sure that the skates you are using aren't super sharp because it will make it harder for you to stop. Besides just turning your heels out you should get your feet in a pivot position which should help a lot.The best thing to do is take some time to go over and hold onto the boards and practice "making snow". that means taking your right foot and practcing the right edge to stop on and just stroke it back and forth.
What shall i wear to go dry skiing tomorrow? bear in mind its due to snow?
for one foot or two foot side stop?it takes a while to get the hang of stopping iat first, so just have patience. if you know how to stop with one foot when skiing, just do the same =) and try going onto the inside edge and press a deep cut into the ice.
if its a two foot side stop, i just cheat and do 1 foot then glide my other foot beside it, but i try my best to actually do 2 foot XD
good luck and have fun!
